I just wanted to let you know about a great new website I’ve found called IM Report Card. It’s a new community that’s updated daily with reviews of popular Internet marketing products, services and people (including those Gurus). Wondering if that product or service you’re thinking of buying is worth it? Now you can find out before you buy. You can also grade products you’re familiar with, report scams, add comments and write your own reviews, and even earn money just for participating.

If you’re like most people you’ve probably already bought or have experience with dozens of the products, services and people already reviewed on the site. If you grade and comment on them you could easily earn some cash right now.

So whats it all about? The free membership is a site for marketers to honestly rate programs, products, services, business opportunities and such. Every day 1,000s of people begin their online marketing journey, and most quickly find themselves overwhelmed by all the hype, “secrets” and claims of easy money.

The “Make Money Online” industry’s dirty little secret

Many of the most highly promoted Internet marketing and “make money online” products and services are developed and “launched” by a relatively small group of people. These are the so-called “gurus.” There are about 20-30 people that fall into this group.

And then there are another 50-100 smaller players who operate a little differently, but essentially do the same thing. These people have no interest in being a “guru”, but they are serial product developers and crank out new products every few months. These two relatively small groups, roughly 100 or so people and/or small companies, are probably responsible for 80% or more of the “popular” products and services out there.”
